Jamir Brown, Ajani Dwyer missed the NCAA finals in their specialties Wednesday by a combined 4-100ths of a second.
Brown, from Riverside, ran 13.37 in the 110-meter hurdles semifinals at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., and missed advancing to the final by 1-100th of a second. He finished 10th overall and the top nine – the top two in each of three semis and the next three-fastest times – moved on to Friday’s final. Brown’s PR is 13.25.
Brown, from Washington Township, ran 10.18 in the 100 semis and missed qualifying by 3-100ths of a second. He finished 12th overall. Dwyer’s PR is 9.93 and his season-best is 9.96.
