Kingsway’s Evan Corcoran achieved something this year that only three others have ever achieved in the long, storied history of Rowan track.

He earned All-America honors in three events at one meet.

At the NCAA Division 3 Championships in La Crosse, Wisc., Corcoran placed 3^rd in the 100-meter dash with a wind-legal school-record 10.30, 2^nd-fastest ever by an NJAC sprinter, he placed 8^th in the 200 in 21.31 with a legal 1.7 wind and he ran the second leg on Rowan’s 2^nd-place 400-meter relay team, whose 39.56 is 6^th-fastest time in D-3 history. Madaijoudou Diawara, Penns Grove’s Eli Hendrix and Eastern’s Rajahn Dixon also ran on that team.

Corcoran is now a five-time All-America overall having previously run on Rowan’s 2^nd-place 400-meter relay teams in 2023 and 2025.

Rowan’s first triple All-America was middle-distance star Willie Lawson from Plainfield, who did it as a freshman. At the 1982 meet at North Central College in Naperville, Ill., Lawson won the 800 in 1:50.29, placed 6^th in the 400 in 47.62 and anchored Glassboro State’s 1,600-meter relay tam, which was 2^nd in 3:11.53.

Sixteen years later, at the 1998 D-3 Championships at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., Rich Dixon of Dover, Del., won the 400 in 47.58, placed 5^th in the 200 in 21.75 and ran on Rowan’s 4-by-4, which was 3^rd in 3:12.37.

Most recently, Jah’mere Beasley of Sterling achieved the rare triple at the 2023 meet at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, placing 5^th in the 200 in 21.06 and racing on Rowan’s 2^nd-place 4-by-1 tam [40.14] and 3^rd-place 4-by-4 [3:08.74].

Corcoran has a year of indoor eligibility remaining at Rowan.
