Winslow’s Jasmine Jackson smashed her own South Jersey 100-meter hurdles record and her own state sophomore record with the 2nd-fastest time in Meet of Champions history Wednesday at Pennsauken

Jackson lowered her South Jersey record from 13.39, which she had run twice, to 13.28. Only Taylor Cox and Dawn Bowles have run faster in New Jersey track history.

Jackson won by a whopping 34-100th of a second over Atlantic County Tech junior Brianna Growalt, whose 13.62 is No. 8 in state history and 2nd-fastest all-time in South Jersey history. She broke the Atlantic County record 66 set by 2019 World Champion Nia Ali of Pleasantville, who ran 13.65 at 2006 Greensboro Nationals.

Pennsauken senior Olivia Dupree placed 3rd in a 1-2-3 South Jersey sweep with a big PR of 13.82, which is No. 19 in state history and No. 6 on the all-time South Jersey list.

The race produced the fastest 2nd-, 3rd-, 4th-, 5th– and 6th-place times in meet history.
