Jacob Dinerman smashes Rutgers-Camden 800 record with 8th-fastest time in NCAA Division 3, Chris Manzo of St. Joe’s just behind with PR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haddon Township’s Jacob Dinerman, a Rutgers-Camden junior, ran the 8th-fastest 800 in NCAA Division 3 Friday night in Chester.

Dinerman ran 1:50.96, his first time under 1:51. Dinerman’s previous PR was a 1:51.91 from a meet this past May on the same track.

Dinerman broke an 18-year-old school record. Mike Fox from Rancocas Valley ran 1:51.54 at Swarthmore in May of 2008.

Dinerman was out in 55.09 and came back in 55.87,

Also in the race was St. Joe’s sophomore Chris Manzo from Egg Harbor Township, who PR’d with a 1:51.55, dropping his previous best from 1:51.68 from a meet last April on the same track. His time is 9th-fastest so far in the Atlantic 10 Conference
