Sophomore Dylan Hosty placed 3rd and Haddonfield placed all five scorers in the top 20 in a terrific performance in the Varsity E race at the 51st annual Shore Coaches Invitational.
Haddonfield finished 1st in the race among schools that draw students from the town the school is located in.
Top-ranked Union Catholic won the meet with 24 points and Haddonfield, ranked 6th in New Jersey, scored 49 to finish as the top public school in Varsity E. Haddonfield averaged 20:09.65 over 5,000 meters at Holmdel County Park.
Hosty ran 18:54, her 1st time under 19 minutes at Holmdel. Senior Molly Mills and senior Madison Kelsey also finished in the top 10, Mills in 9th in 20:01 and Kelsey 10th in 20:22.
Rounding out Haddonfield’s top 5 were senior Devon Gervasi, 15th in 20:41, and senior Harper Benjamin, 16th in 20:56. Sixth runner sophomore Bella DeFinis was 23rd in 21:12.
Sophomore Glassboro Keira Epstein ran 20:34 for 13th, Woodstown junior Abby Martino placed 20th in 21:06, Audubon senior Lydia Gravante was 31st in 21:49 and junior Isabella Dodd of Haddon Township placed 32nd in 21:59.
