Sophomore Bella Cera led an Ocean City sweep of the top four spots and the Red Raiders won a tri-meet against Middle Township and Hammonton Tuesday in Avalon.
With Ocean City resting most of its lead group, Cera ran 19:54 over 5,000 meters at Avalon Community Center and Ocean City went 1-2-3-4-9 for 19 points, although team scoring isn’t listed in the results.
Freshman Mackenzie Jenkins placed 2nd in 21:04, freshman Cara Jefferson 3rd in 21:17 and sophomore Jules Rearick 4th in 1:53 for Ocean City.
Middle Township girls finished 5th and 6th, with sophomore Autumn Cannon running 22:02 and senior Eden Geisel 22:13.
Hammonton senior Ava Salita [7th in 22:20], Middle sophomore Teagan Emmer [8th in 22:26], Hammonton junior Riley Raffensperger [10th in 22:39] and Ocean City senior Madison McHale [11th in 22:47] also broke 23 minutes.
