Natalie Dumas tied the legendary Jodie Bilotta for most individual Meet of Champions titles Wednesday with her 3rd win of the day in the 800.
Dumas ran 2:03.46 and held off sophomore Stella Blanchard of the Wilberforce School in Plainsboro, who ran 2:03.64. Dumas now has eight lifetime outdoor M-of-C individual titles and 11 including indoor. That’s 2nd-most behind Pennsauken’s Sianni Wynn, who won her 14th earlier Wednesday in the 100 and will run the 200 soon.
Dumas’s time is her fastest since West Philly Nationals a year ago, which she won in a state-record 2:00.11.
Haddonfield’s Dylan Hosty was 4th in 2:06.04, lowering her own state freshman record, Ocean City junior Carly Godfrey ran 2:10.36 for 6th place, and Moorestown sophomore Payton Derer ran 2:11.37 for 8th place.
