Jaeden Wesley, Zaccheaus Harrigan, Moses Robles lead Glassboro to 74-point first day in S.J. Group 1 Sectionals, Haddonfield leads in Group 2, Deptford in Group 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Senior Jaeden Wesley, sophomore Zaccheaus Harrigan and sophomore Moses Robles led Glassboro to a 74-point Day 1 in the South Jersey Group 1 sectionals Friday at Lenape.

With nine events in the books, Glassboro leads Schalick 74-48, with Camden [34] and Woodstown [32] in 3rd and 4th.

Glassboro’s remarkable sophomore class scored 39 points, with a freshman adding six more. Wesley was the only senior to score.

Wesley won the 3,200 in a lifetime-best 9:34.67, leading a 1-2-6 Glassboro finish with sophomore Joe Saicic [2nd in 9:37.34] and sophomore Gavin Rakitis [6th in PR 9:56.59], Harrigan placed 2nd in the 800 [PR 1:55.06] and intermediate hurdles [58.24] and Robles was 2nd in the triple jump [PR 47-5] and 3rd in the long jumpo [21-8 ½].

Freshman Gabriel Tarevich threw 137-5 in the discus for 3rd place, junior Marley Crowl placed 5th in both horizontal jumps [20-11 ¾, 42-11 ½], sophomore Aaron Johnson took 6th in the 800 [PR 1:59.19], junior Joseph Delecce was 4th in the discus [PR 131-9] and junior Logan Toledo was 3rd in the pole vault [12-0].

Also, sophomore Miles Taylor, sophomore Alex Adeleye, junior Marley Crowl and junior Ta’sheem Butler ran 43.97 for 4th in the 400-meter relay.

At Delsea, Haddonfield leads Pleasantville 53-36 in Group 2 and Deptford is up 55-52 on Winslow, and in Group 4 at Lenape Southern Regional [34] and Toms River North [31] lead Eastern [28], Williamstown [28], Bridgeton [26], Egg Harbor [24], Cherry Hill East [23], Rancocas Valley [22] and Millville [22].
