Brianna Growalt runs 8th-fastest hurdles time in South Jersey history in semifinals at Easterns!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atlantic County Tech junior Brianna Growalt ran the 15th-fastest hurdles time in South Jersey history Tuesday afternoon at the 90th annual Easterns at the Armory.

Growalt ran 8.05 in the first of 11 heats of the 55-meter hurdles, lowering her PR from 8.09. That’s tied for 3rd-fastest in Atlantic County history. It’s also No. 18 in the U.S. this year.

It’s also 3rd-fastest in New Jersey this year, behind Winslow sophomore Jasmine Jackson [7.90] and Morristown’s Kayla Ewing, who led all qualifiers with a PR 8.01 Tuesday, No. 14 on the U.S. list.
