OK, you’re not supposed to run this fast this early.
The Timber Creek girls, who won the 400-meter relay with a hot 47.53 earlier at the Fast Times at Cherokee Saturday, followed that with a blazing win in the 800-meter relay with one of the fastest times in state history.
Ryan Jennings, Billie Frazier, Chloe Jones and Naylah Jones ran 1:39.67, matching the 11th-fastest time in state history and 4th-fastest ever by a South Jersey school.
It’s also the 2nd-fastest time in state history this early in the season – and the fastest ever run in New Jersey this early. Union Cathoilc ran 1:38.98 last year in Arcadia, Calif.
