Washington Township junior Yashahya Brown advanced easily to the hurdles finals at Boston Indoor Nationals on Sunday morning.
Brown, whose 7.80 in Saturday’s qualifying rounds is 4th-fastest in state history over the 60-meter hurdles, followed that with a 7.82 to win the first of four semifinal races Sunday in Brighton, Mass.
He’ll be the No. 3 seed in the final behind only Abdoul Sy-Savane of Parkview High in Lilburn, Ga. [7.76] and Joshua Mooney of Stonington High in Pawcatuck, Conn. [7.80].
In the final, Brown will line up in Lane 3, Sy-Savane in Lane 4 and Mooney in Lane 5.
The final is scheduled for 12:26 p.m. Sunday.
