You have to go back to 1934 to find the first South Jersey winer in the Easterns boys meet. You don’t have to go back quite so far to find the first girls winner – only 43 years!

In 1980, the inaugural edition of girls Easterns in Boston, Willingboro teammates Michelle Glover and Carol Lewis were both winners, Glover in the 55 and Lewis in the long jump.
