Haddonfield’s Seth Clevenger runs 15:42 at Van Cortlandt, just misses trip to Eastbay Nationals!!!

Seth Clevenger moved into the all-time South Jersey top-10 at legendary Van Cortlandt Park Saturday at the Eastbay Cross Country Northeast Regionals, formerly Foot Locker (and Kinney).

Clevenger, a Haddonfield senior, ran 15:42.3 on the challenging 5,000-meter course in the Bronx, New York, and placed 12th. The top 10 finishers earn a trip to Eastbay Nationals in San Diego in two weeks.

Marco Langon of Bridgewater-Raritan placed second in 15:09.6 – fastest ever by a New Jersey runner at Vanny – and Shane Brosnan of Union Catholic took 5th in 15:24. The previous New Jersey best at Van Cortlandt was Craig Forys’ 15:15.5 in 2006.

Full results aren’t yet available. Or if they are I sure can’t find them!
