Bria Mack ran a 60-meter dash PR Friday at the Big Ten Championships.
Mack, a Maryland senior from Williamstown, ran 7.45 in the trials of the 60 at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
She qualified for Saturday’s nine-lane final with the fourth-fastest qualifying time after placing third in the third of four heats. The winner of each heat plus the next four-fastest times advanced. Six of the nine qualifiers ran between 7.42 and 7.49.
Mack lowered her PR from 7.49, which she ran in the trials of the B1G Indoor Invitational earlier this month on the same track.
The final is slated for 4:25 p.m. Saturday. Mack will be in lane 8.
