We’re finished with the first part of the all-time South Jersey Top-50 Project: The outdoor boys records!

When this project is done, we’ll have a handy index of South Jersey all-time performance lists for every major boys and girls indoor and outdoor event.
And once track meets resume it will be easy to update the lists as we go! Hopefully, this remains a valuable resource for coaches, athletes, track statisticians and fans.
Mistakes and omissions are inevitable when undertaking a project like this, so your help is welcome. If you notice a performance that’s incorrect or missing, an incorrect year, a name mis-spelled … any errors at all, please let me know in the comment section.

Hey, Brian … Sorry I missed this! I have every copy of Ed Grant’s old New Jersey Annuals going back to 1967 and that’s my starting point. I’ve always kept and maintained lists so it’s just a matter of updating them each year. Glad you’re enjoying the lists!

Roob, I can’t thank you enough for your hard work and dedication to SJ Track and Field. I have been involved in SJ Track and Field for over 40 years, as either a fan, coach or official. It’s been a fun trip down memory lane. I look forward to reading your work and research on our favorite sport.
When are you going to write that book?

Awesome job with these lists, Roob. Very cool to see the names of athletes I had the chance to see compete and write about while I was working with you at the BCT, along with the Courier-Post. You’ll always be the guru of SJ track stats.

Hey Kevin, how’s it going? Hope you’re well and staying safe! Yeah, it’s been a good project to dive into right now. Something I’ve been thinking of doing for years but never really had the chance to do. People seem to be enjoying it. Just trying to do something to provide content to track obsessives like us!
