The Millville girls scored 238 points Thursday in the Cumberland County. That’s a lot in any meet, even one with just four teams.
Now imagine if they used the typical 10-8-6-4-2-1 scoring system instead of 8-6-4-2-1.
Millville would have been over 300 points.
It was an impressive tuneup for Millville, which heads into the championship portion of the season with a deep, talented, balanced team that covers every event on the track and in the field.
Millville won every event, went at least 1-2 in 10 events and swept the top three spots in six events.
