Eastern’s Jailya Ash edges Wilson’s Dennisha Page in wild M-of-C 55-meter dash final!!!!

Eastern sophomore Jailya Ash and Wilson senior Dennisha Page engaged in a titanic battle in the Meet of Champions 55-meter dash final, with Ash out-leaning Page by 1-100th of a second and both running big-time PR’s.

Ash, only fifth at states and the No. 9 seed coming into today, ran 7.06 with Page second in 7.07. Their times are No. 11 and No. 12 in South Jersey history!!! The all-time South Jersey list is below!

Ash’s previous PR was 7.17 and Page’s was 7.12.
