Crazy fast early double for Lenape’s Pettipaw!!!

Carly Pettipaw is in midseason form, and we’re only in the middle of April.

The Lenape senior ran 1:05.91 to win the 400-meter intermediate hurdles and 2:16.90 to win the 800-meter run at the Lenape Invitational Saturday.

Both are the fastest FAT times in New Jersey this year.

Pettipaw has run faster in both events, but considering how early in the season it is, the performances are awfully encouraging.

Pettipaw’s PRs are 1:03.94 in the 400IH from last year’s Olympic Conference meet and 2:14.12 from the 2013 indoor state meet in the 800.

Results from Lenape are here.

Pettipaw also has a PR of 56.96 in the 400 from last year’s South Jersey Group 4 sectionals.

Pettipaw will be back in action next weekend at the Penn Relays on Lenape’s DMR, which has a terrific chance to dip under 12 minutes.

The full list of Penn Relays high school acceptances is here.
