Winslow sophomore Jasmine Jackson broke the South Jersey 60-meter hurdles record for the third time in two days Sunday and earned All-America honors with a 2nd-place finish at Boston THE TRACK Nationals.

Coming into the weekend, the South Jersey record was 8.36, set by Nia Ali of Pleasantville at 2006 Prince Georges Sports and Learning Complex Nationals in Landover, Md.

Jackson then ran 8.34 in qualifying Saturday and 8.21 in the semifinals before blazing an 8.20 in the final on Sunday.

Her time is 3rd-fastest in New Jersey history and 18th-fastest in U.S. scholastic track history. It appears to be No. 4th-fastest ever by a U.S. sophomore.

Jackson placed 2nd to Jordan Hamb of South Shore International College Prep in Chicago. Hamb ran 8.18 after coming into the meet with an 8.38 PR.
