Rowan’s 1,600-meter relay team solidified its position on the NCAA Division 3 list Friday with a season-best 3:14.07 at the AARTFC Championships at the Armory.
Sophomore Rajahn Dixon of Eastern, freshman Marquis Taylor of Woodbury, junior Teddy Wilson of Toms River North and junior Dallas Hohney of Glassboro ran 3:14.07, moving the Profs from 13th to 11th on the 2026 Division 3 list. The top 12 schools at the end of the day Saturday qualify for nationals in Birmingham later this month.
Dixon led off in 48.69, Taylor split 49.50, Wilson ran 48.70 and Hohney anchored in 47.20.
The time is Rowan’s 5th-fastest all-time, behind its national-record 3:10.19 in Boston in 2023, 3:12.39 in Boston last year, 3:12.80 in Boston in 2022 and 3:13.15 in Boston last year.
Rowan’s previous fastest time this year was a 3:14.34 last month in Youngstown, Ohio, with Taylor, sophomore Luke Halbruner of Ocean City`, junior Samuel Agbessi from Sterling and Hohney.
