A look at the four South Jersey qualifiers for the NCAA Division 1 Championships!!!!!!!!

Ajani Dwyer of Washington Township, Jamir Brown of Riverside, Lumberton’s Greg Foster and Highland’s Floyd Whitaker will respresent South Jersey at the NCAA Division 1 Championships.

Dwyer, Brown, Foster and Whitaker are among the athletes listed in the final acceptanes list relased by the NCAA Thursday afternoon.

The NCAA Championships are scheduled for March 13-14 at the Randall Tyson Track Center at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Brown is the No. 14 seed in the 60-meter hurdles with his 7.56 in the trials at the ACC Championships last month in Boston. The hurdles trials are scheduled for 6:55 p.m. Friday, March 13, with the final at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Dwyer qualified in both the 60- and 200-meter dashes. He’s the No.6 seed in the 55 with a 6.52 last month on his home track in State College and No. 9 seed with a 20.51 in Indianapolis two weeks ago at the Big Ten Championships. On Friday, the 60 trials are at 5:45 p.m. and the 200 qualifying at 8 p.m. On Saturday, the 60 final is at 4:40 p.m. with the 200 final at 5:40 p.m.

Foster, a Lawrenceville Prep graduate who grew up in Lumberton, is the No. 2 seed in the long jump with his Ivy League-record 27-0 ¼ last weekend at the Armory. The long jump is at 7 p.m. Friday.

Whitaker, NCAA runner-up last spring, is the No. 8 seed in the triple jump with his PR 53-11 ¼ last month at the SEC Championships in College Station, Texas. The triple jump is at 5 p.m. Saturday.
