Pennsauken sophomore Hope Edwards, Winslow sophomore Amariah Arango and Winslow junior Cinniya Robinson all ran indoor 400 PRs at the CIRCUIT Saturday at the Ott Center.
Edwards won the race in 56.50, Arango was 3rd in 56.62 and Robinson 4th in 56.71. Their times rank 3rd-, 5th- and 6th-fastest among South Jersey girls this year and 8th, 12th and 13th on the all-time Camden County list. They’re 8th, 12th and 12th on the all-time Camden County indoor list.
Edwards’ previous indoor PR was 56.73 at the Ott Center in January and her previous lifetime best was a 56.56 last spring at Franklin Field as a Moorestown freshman. Arango’s previous indoor PR was 56.88 last yearat Ocean Breeze. She has a 56.44 outdoor 400 from Delsea last spring. Robinson’s previous indoor PR was 56.81 from last year’s Meet of Champions at Ocean Breeze and she has a 55.60 outdoors from her win at the 2024 state Group 3 meet at Delsea.
With Arango, Robinson, Jasmine Jackson [56.62] and Olivia Okaro [57.48], Winslow has four girls under 57.50 this winter.
Dumas [53.68] and Sianni Wynn [55.13] are No. 1 and 2 in New Jersey this year at 400 meters, and Edwards is now 10th, with Jackson 11th, Arango 12th and Robinson 14th.
