Triple winners Cinniya Robinson, Jasmine Jackson lead Winslow girls to 8th straight state relays championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Junior Cinniya Robinson and sophomore Jasmine Jackson both ran on three 1st-place relay teams, and the Winslow Township girls won their 8th consecutive state relays title and 10th overall Sunday at the Bubble.

Winslow outscored 2nd-place Ocean City 58-30, to win Group 3, with Pennsauken 4th with 20 points.

Winslow’s 10 state relays titles are tied for 4th-most all-time, behind Willingboro, Haddonfield and SPASP [Scotch Plains All-Star Program], who both have 11. 

Winslow’s streak of eight straight titles is 3rd-longest streak ever behind Hopewell Valley’s nine-year streak in Group 2 from 2002 through 2010 and SPASP, who has won 10 in a row in Parochial A since 2015. There was no meet in 2021.

Winslow won the shuttle hurdles with senior Ma’Syiah Brawner, junior Justice Green, Robinson and Jackson running 31.03, No. 1 nationally and 2nd-fastest in South Jersey history.

Jackson, Leeya Joseph, Amaya Jones and Robinson won the 800-meter relay in 1;43.83, and sophomore Amariah Arango, Jackson, senior Olivia Okaro and Robinson won the sprint medley by more than five seconds in 4:12.64.

Winslow also placed 2nd in the 4-by-8 with Arango, Okaro, junior Jordyn Cato and sophomore Julissa Derry running 9:54.71; 2nd in the 4-by-4 with junior Amaya Jones, junior Skhye Seamon, sophomore Nylah Lovelace-Creump and Joseph running 4:03.53; and 2nd in the high jump relay, with Brawner clearing 5-2 and Green 4-10. 

The Eagles were also 4th in the pole vault relay, with senior senior Nyla Williams clearning 9-6 and senior Cherish Hazelton 7-0.

Ocean City won the distance medley in 12:21.67 – No. 5 in New Jersey this year – with sophomore Riley Tolson, junior Alana Clevenger, junior Lillian Flora and junior Carly Godfrey, and the 3,200-meter relay with Tolson, Flora, junior Peighton Clemens and Godfrey in 9:38.41 – also 5th-fastest in New Jersey this year.

Pennsauken won the 4-by-4 in 3:59.69, 2nd-fastest by a South Jersey school this year.  Senior Olivia Dupree, sophomore Rai’ana Rucker, sophomore Hope Edwards and senior Sianni Winn. Dupree, senior Sanaya Dupree, Wynn and Edwards ran 1:44.73 for 2nd in the 4-by-2.

Moorestown was 3rd in that DMR 12:43.35 with junior Catherine Hipple, freshman Armani Robinson, junior Sophia DiFiore and sophomore Peyton Derer and also 3rd in the 4-by-8 with DiFiore, junior Jenna Dionis, junior Siyana Sheth and Derer running 9:57.43.

Mainland took 3rd in the shuttles in 34.65 with junior Veronika Andreev, sophomore Alaya Steinberg, senior Camryn DeMorat and junior Allie Thomas. Mainland also tied for 2nd in the pole vault relay with junior Heather Milstead clearing 9-0 and sophomore Erin Lowry 8-0.

Delsea placed 3rd in the shot put relay with senior Hannah Nuhfer, the national discus champion, throwing 41-5 and sophomore Alese Beverly 27-1.
