Woodstown’s Molly Lodge anchors Rowan women to fast 4-by-4 and a berth in College Championship race Saturday at Penn Relays!!!!!!

Woodstown graduate Molly Lodge’s 56.15 anchor led the Rowan women to the 9th-fastest 4-by-4 in NCAA Division 3 this year Friday at the 129th running of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field.

Rowan ran 3:48.10 at Franklin Field, with freshman Nyla Jones from Timber Creek leading off, ,senior Jasmine Broadway of Burlington Township running 2nd, freshman Ava Reilly from Toms River East splitting 57.08 and senior Lodge of Woodstown anchoring in 56.15.

Rowan raced without their fastest 400 runner, Triton graduate and two-time NJAC 400 champ Nevaeh Lorjuste, who anchored the 4th-place 4-by-4 at NCAA Division I 3 Nationals in Myrtle Beach. Her 55.46 is No. 2 in school history. We’ll see if she runs Saturday.

Rowan qualified for the College Championship 1,600-Meter Relay, scheduled for 5:20 p.m. Saturday. They’ll start in Lane 2.
