Audubon girls win sprint medley at Group 1 State Relays!!!!!!

Audubon junior Kylie Tocco, freshman Bianca Curran, sophomore Sophia Rizzo and junior Riley Fayer ran 4:22.81 and won the sprint medley at the state Group 1 relays at the Bubble Friday.

Audubon topped Schalick, which placed 2nd in 4:25.18 with senior Gia Martellacci, sophomore Brooke Valentine, senior Allyson Green and senior Jordan Hadfield.

Audubon finished 3rd in team scoring with 34 points, behind only Ramsey [54] and Metuchen [46]. Haddon Township placed 5th with 18 points, and Woodbury was 6th with 12 points.

Also for Audubon, sophomore Lydia Gravante, Rizzo, sophomore Isabella Legatie and Fayer placed a close 2nd to Metuchen in the distance medley in 12:48.53, and senior Elizabeth Butrica, junior Micayla Cary, junior Julianna Laxton and junior Finola Witherington took 2nd in the shuttle hurdles in 36.03.

Tocco, Cary, Legatie and Fayer also ran 4:21.12 for 3rd in the 1,600-meter relay.

Haddon Township won the pole vault relay with senior Emersen Levins clearing 10-0 and senior Osinachi Okpara 8-0. Pennsville placed 2nd with senior Megan Morris clearing 9-6 and junior Molly Gratz 7-6.

Woodbury ran 1:51.09 for 2nd place in the 800-meter relay with junior KaChar Woods, sophomore Jazmirra Watts, senior Denirah Jones and junior Zaryn Cooper.

Junior Casey Birdwell cleared 4-10 and senior Jessica McGary 4-8 and Haddon Township placed 2nd in the high jump relay.

Glassboro juniors Sunsarai Moore and Heaven Franklin placed 3rd in the shot put relay, Moore throwing 31-11 and Franklin 27-10 1/4.
