The Winslow girls ran the 6th-fastest 800-meter relay in state history Saturday afternoon at the Hispanic Games at the Armory.

Winslow ran 1:39.95, 6th-fastest in the U.S. this year, according to the MileSplit national database.

Armory results are terrible and do not list the names of relay runners, but when the Eagles ran 1:42.97 at the Ott Center last month they used freshman Jasmine Jackson, junior Olivia Okaro, sophomore Skyhe Seamon and junior Leeya Joseph. However, they have a very deep stable of sprinters and they could have used a different lineup for this race.

EDIT: According to social media post by somebody with the Winslow program, the lineup was freshman Jasmine Jackson to junior Olivia Okaro to sophomore Skyhe Seamon to sophomore Cinniya Robinson.

Either way, this practice of not listing relay names in results is awful. Ocean Breeze and the Ott Center always list relay names, and the Armory needs to figure it out because the results platform they use certainly allows for it.

The previous-fastest time in New Jersey this year was Pennsauken’s 1:42.24 earlier in the day at the Ott Center. You can read about that race here.

In any case, this is Winslow’s third time under 1:40, with the first two both coming at Armory Nationals in New York. In 2018, they placed 4th in 1:39.55 with Flora Ahiarakwe, Shakira Dancy, Janeya Hammond and Nylah Perry, and in 2017 they placed 5th in 1:39.94 with Ahiarakwe. Dancy, Tionna Tobias and Iyianna Williams.

That 1:39.55 was the state record until it was broken twice by a North Jersey all-star team.

Willingboro placed 2nd in 1:42.32, 6th-fastest in Burlington County history and 19th on the all-time South Jersey list. Again, names not available  Again, names not available but most likely junior Kaila Speight, sophomore Maya Bolden, junior Jaden Murry and senior Nester Wea. That is 3rd-fastest in New Jersey this year behind Winslow and Pennsauken
