RANCOCAS VALLEY WINS 800-METER RELAY AT BEANTOWN CLASSIC IN BOSTON WITH 12TH-FASTEST TIME IN SOUTH JERSEY HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a speedy 1:30.43 in the 800-meter relay trials at the Beantown Winter Classic earlier in the day, the Rancocas Valley boys unleashed a blazing 1:29.16 on The TRACK in Boston, the fastest time by a Burlington County school in 25 years.

Juniors Xavier Bancroft, Julian Coopage-Seepersand and Tim Howard Jr. and senior David Smith won the race in 1:29.16, fastest since Lenape, with Herb Reid, Ian Moore, Luis Tomlinson and Mohamad Kanu in the lineup, ran 1:28.46 to win 2000 Easterns at the Armory.

R.V. won by more than 1 ½ seconds, finishing 15 meters ahead of 2nd-place River Hill School of Clarksville, Md., who ran 1:30.85. River Hill led all qualifiers with a 1:30.01.

Their time is 12th-fastest in South Jersey history, fastest by a New Jersey relay team so far this season and 6th-fastest in the country, according to the MileSplit national database.

The Red Devils broke their school record of 1:29.29, set by Brian Merriman, Sam Keleekai, Rob Hawkins and Brandon Boggs at 2017 Easterns at the Armory.
