Cinnaminson’s Jacob Wickersham wins junior class race at Thompson Park 2-Miler!!!!!!

Cinnaminson’s Jacob Wickersham ran two miles in 10:13 and easily won the junior class race at the Thompson 2-Miler at Thompson Park in Jamesburg.

Wickersham finished about 60 meters ahead of 2nd-place Caden Gueci of Point Pleasant Borough, who ran 10:24.

His 10:13 was 5th-fastest among more than 500 boys who competed in four class races.

Wickersham is coming off a 2023 track season where he ran 9:31.36, 8th -fastest among all sophomores in New Jersey.

Cinnaminson’s Ryan Scaricaciottoli, Edward Abu-Abas and Alexander Lonardo placed 11th, 14th and 21st in the sophomore race and combined for 41 team points when individuals are removed, good for 3rd place in sophomore team scoring behind Colts Neck and Hopewell Valley.

Cinnaminson’s one runner in the senior race, Brandon Smith, ran 10:34 and placed 11th. The Pirates also took 4th in the freshman race, with Lucas and Keith Fried 17th and 18th and James Coller 30th.

Northern’s Caleb Wiederholt ran 10:34 and placed 9th in the senior class race, with teammates Noah Taylor 19th in 10:52 and Colin Brennan 45th in 11:53, and the Greyhounds placed 5th in senior class team scoring.

Northern junior Jimmy Cataline was 7th in the junior race in 10:57.
