Winslow’s Cinniya Robinson, Olivia Okaro go 1-2 in 400 at state Group 3 meet!!!!!!!!

Huge start to the state Group 3 meet for the Winslow girls, with freshman Cinniya Robinson and sophomore Olivia Okaro running 1-2 with blazing fast PRs.

Robinson lowered her PR from 55.76 from last weekend’s Group 3 sectionals to 55.60 and Okaro lowered hers from 56.30 to 56.08 as Winslow increased its point total from 19 to 37 and moved just one point behind Timber Creek.

Robinson is Winslow’s first state 400 champ since Shakira Dancy won Group 3 in 54.36 in 2016. Her 55.60 makes her the 4th-fastest freshman in South Jersey history, behind Pennsauken’s Sianni Wynn [53.97 last year], Eastern’s English Gardner [54.00 in 2007] and Winslow’s Krystal Cantey [55.48 in 2003].

Timber Creek freshman Taylor Gaines took 5th in 57.59, dropping her PR from 58.32.
