Deptford junior Javon Sanders took over the South Jersey lead in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles Thursday night with a 56.33 win at the South Jersey Invitational at Delsea.
Sanders surpassed his PR of 56.77, which he set in March at the Rebel Relays at Howell High School.
Sanders is the seventh Deptford intermediate hurdler to run under 58 seconds and the fifth to run sub-57 since 2013:
