Kingsway boys shatter school record in DMR with S.J. #1 performance at Woodbury Relays!!!

Seniors Cade Hindley, Joe Grandizio and Jonathan Connor and junior Kieran Burns teamed up Saturday to run the top distance medley time by a South Jersey school this year and break the Kingsway school record.

Kingsway ran 10:26.74 to win the Group 4 DMR at the 43rd annual Woodbury Relays by about 80 meters over Rancocas Valley.

Kingsway’s previous school record was a 10:31.12 to win the 2014 Woodbury Relays Group 4 DMR.

Kingsway’s time is third-fastest in New Jersey this year, behind Voorhees [10:21.52 at the Metuchen Relays] and North Hunterdon [10:25.26 at the Skyland Conference Relays].

According to the lineup and splits listed with the official results, Hindley led off with a 3:09.3, followed by Grandizio in 54.9, Connor with a 2:00.8 and Burns anchoring in 4:21.9.
