Junior Greg Eisenhower and Martin Riddell placed third and fourth overall and Haddonfield roared to a 37-point win over Northern Valley-Demarest in the Varsity E race Saturday at the Shore Coaches Invitational.
Eisenhower ran 16:40 and Riddell 16:42 over the challenging 5,000-meter Holmdel County Park layout.
They were backed up by sophomore Stephen Kasko [14th in 17:26], senior Richie Glennon [23rd in 17:40] and sophomore Andrew Gostovich [41st in 18:09].
The team title is Haddonfield’s 10th in the Shore Coaches meet, run on the same course as the state meet and Meet of Champions.
Haddonfield won Varsity C in 1978, Varsity D in 1989, Varsity E in 1995, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and Varsity F in 1998.
